Summary, etc. Les politiques publiques de gestion des ressources naturelles tendent à devenir transnationales, comme en témoigne l’exemple de la gestion forestière. Dans ce cadre, les Etats ont souhaité que les entreprises, les organisations internationales et les organisations non-gouvernementales créent un ensemble de normes et de procédures, ensuite rendues obligatoires par des lois et des contrats. La comptabilité, les travaux des économistes intégrant les principes dégagés par les écologues et des physiciens et le management public permettent de penser ce que pourrait être une gestion forestière soutenable mais ne traitent que superficiellement de la nature transnationale des politiques mises en œuvre dans ce domaine. Cet article se propose de confronter ces apports théoriques classiques aux pratiques transnationalisées. Il en ressort, d’une part, que les apports théoriques mis en avant sont pertinents pour penser une gestion devenue transnationale et que, d’autre part, le caractère participatif de ces méthodes transnationales n’est pas encore abordé de façon satisfaisante. Ce dernier aspect pose de nombreuses questions, dans le cadre d’une gestion dont l’objectif serait la soutenabilité. © 2020 IDMP/Lavoisier SAS. Tous droits réservés

Summary, etc. Natural resource management public policies tend to become transnational, as evidenced by the example of forest management. In this regard, States have requested that companies, international organizations, and non-governmental organizations create a set of norms and procedures, to later be made mandatory through laws and contracts. Accounting, public management and works from economists incorporating principles drawn up by ecologists and physicists, form a picture of what could be a sustainable forest management, but only superficially describe the transnational nature of the policies implemented in this field. The aim of this article is to check these classic theoretical inputs against transnationalized practices. It brings to light, on the one hand, that the featured theoretical inputs are suitable for envisioning a management that has become transnational, and on the other hand, that the participative nature of these transnational practices has yet to be approached in a satisfactory manner.
