Jusqu’au milieu des années 2000, des intellectuels ont été poursuivis en justice pour avoir parlé du génocide en public. Des signes d’ouverture sont toutefois perceptibles, dans les sphères gouvernementales et dans la société civile. À terme, Ankara finira par reconnaître la responsabilité de l’Empire ottoman dans ce génocide. |
