| Summary, etc. | À l’époque de l’apartheid, le régime sud-africain contrôlait étroitement ses migrations par le biais d’accords bilatéraux avec d’autres pays d’Afrique australe. Les migrants du travail étaient surtout orientés vers les secteurs minier et agricole. Les migrations sont aujourd’hui plus fluides et diversifiées mais les migrants sont confrontés à un marché de l’emploi précarisé et à de nombreuses discriminations. |

| Summary, etc. | During apartheid, the South African regime kept stringent control over migration through bilateral agreements with other southern African countries. Economic migrants in particular were directed towards mining and agricultural areas. Today, migrations are more fluid and diverse but migrants are now confronted with a precarious employment market as well as many forms of discrimination. |
