| Summary, etc. | The way in which the current international paradigm is described (competition, contestation, confrontation) gives a good account of geopolitical reality, but does little to highlight the real nature of all the oppositions and crises that are superimposed. While the term ‘war’ cannot be used without being misused, to deny its reality would be naive. After grasping these different concepts and briefly illustrating them with a few examples, the aim is to identify the tools France now has at its disposal to conduct this "omnidirectional war", which is experienced as a silent war, and the difficulties encountered. |

| Summary, etc. | La manière de décrire le paradigme international actuel (compétition, contestation, affrontement) rend bien compte de la réalité géopolitique, mais ne met que peut en lumière la nature réelle de l’ensemble des oppositions et crises qui se superposent. Si le vocable guerrier ne peut être employé sans être dévoyé, nier sa réalité serait faire preuve de naïveté. Après avoir saisi ces différents concepts et les avoir brièvement illustrés par quelques exemples, il s’agit d’identifier les outils dont la France dispose aujourd’hui pour conduire cette « guerre omnidirectionnelle » vécue comme une guerre sourde et les difficultés rencontrées. |
