L’Arabie Saoudite et les Émirats arabes unis reprochent en particulier à Doha son soutien aux Frères musulmans et son rapprochement avec Téhéran. Cette crise a suscité l’embarras des pays occidentaux qui coopèrent avec toutes les parties. L’engagement de la Turquie aux côtés du Qatar rend une escalade militaire peu probable. Nul n’a intérêt à ce que la situation s’envenime. |

Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are especially critical of Doha for its support for the Muslim Brotherhood and its reconciliation with Tehran. This crisis has embarrassed the Western countries who cooperate with all the parties involved. Turkey’s commitment toward Qatar makes military escalation highly unlikely.
