| Summary, etc. | Les petits États insulaires du Pacifique sont plus grands qu’il n’y paraît : l’espace maritime de la Mélanésie, de la Micronésie et de la Polynésie représente 40 millions de km2. Or, la biodiversité de l’océan est affectée par le réchauffement climatique et la montée des eaux menace les habitants de certaines îles. Les territoires du Pacifique, en dépit de leur hétérogénéité, ont réussi à s’unir pour tenter de faire entendre leur voix dans différentes instances diplomatiques. |

However, the ocean’s biodiversity is affected by global warming and the rising water threatens the inhabitants of some islands.
