Ils ont un rôle irremplaçable dans la sélection des élites politiques à travers le filtrage qu’ils opèrent entre les candidatures potentielles. Leur fonction électorale et d’expression de la volonté collective est garantie par le droit. L’existence des partis est ainsi protégée au nom de la liberté d’association et d’expression dans une démocratie.Les partis politiques sont pourtant très critiqués par l’opinion publique, critiques qui sont traditionnelles, plus ou moins observables dans tous les pays et largement structurelles. |
