| Summary, etc. | Cet article a pour objet de faire ressortir un phénomène récurrent, celui des personnes âgés migrants. Nous avons voulu montrer que les difficultés de cette population ne sont pas prises en compte comme le montrent les nombreux rapports, qui depuis des années s'intéressent à cette problématique. Notre intérêt s'est égale~ment porté aux raisons du non retour de cette population qui pourtant vit en France, dans des foyers exigus où le vivre ensemble n'est pas toujours signe d'harmonie. |

| Summary, etc. | EMMANUEL JOVELIN « The dilemma of old age immigrants » The aim of this article is to stress a frequently occurring phenomenon, that of old age immigrants. Our desire has been to show that the difficulties of this group of persons are not taken into account, as is well shown in the numerous reports which have dealt with this problem since many years now. We have also tried to explain why they don't go back to their places of origin, although, here in France, they only live in small homes, where living together doesn't necessarily mean living in harmony. |
