Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Un certain regard sur le travail du psychiatre en pédiatrie : celui de la candide The role of the child in a department of adolescent paediatrics raises many questions from the “Candid” point of view. What are the respective roles of the child, the psychiatrist, the psychologist and the paediatrician, with the crucial question “who does what?”, particularly in a department for adolescents who repeatedly question the role of each. What the definition itself of the liaison childpsychiatrist: expert, consultant, or “shrink” in the eyes of the parents? How can the requests of the paediatricians be deciphered? How can one manage the inevitable time lag between the paediatrician and the psychiatrist? How can one pursue a clinical reflection in such conditions, enlighted by the obvious institutional malfunctioning that provide information on the psychopathology? Using clinical cases, this paper attempts to provide further light on these various obviously open questions that concern the role of the liaison childpsychiatrist. In team work, the first question that should always be asked is probably: what is expected from the childpsychiatrist? |
