| Summary, etc. | Resumé Objectif : les services d’hospitalisation pédopsychiatrique pour adolescents et les services de l’Aide Sociale à l’Enfance collaborent fréquemment car de nombreux enfants placés très jeunes en institution traversent la période de l’adolescence de manière douloureuse ou explosive. Par ailleurs, pour les adolescents vivant dans leur famille, il est souvent utile de proposer une séparation parents-adolescents. Placement éducatif sans soin psychique ou hospitalisation sans accompagnement éducatif n’apportent pas l’apaisement escompté. L’étude présentée a pour objectif d’améliorer l’écoute en tenant compte de la spécificité de la souffrance des adolescents placés et de ses référents parentaux et éducatifs. Méthode : la première étude porte sur 106 demandes d’hospitalisations pour adolescents effectuées entre novembre 2004 et juillet 2005 en distinguant la provenance : famille ou Service de Protection de l’Enfance. La deuxième porte sur 45 adolescents hospitalisés entre septembre 2004 et juillet 2005. Résultats : les demandes et les prises en charge des adolescents placés ne sont pas les mêmes que celles concernant des adolescents vivant dans leur famille et des aménagements du cadre thérapeutique sont nécessaires. L’étude tient compte également des spécificités du département de la Seine-Saint-Denis. Des analyses et des conclusions ont été dégagées afin d’améliorer l’aide qui peut leur être apportée. Dans un travail d’articulation étroit, en évitant l’écueil si fréquent des clivages interinstitutionnels, les services doivent pouvoir répondre au mieux à la souffrance particulière de ces adolescents. |

| Summary, etc. | Full-time hospitalisation services and youth protection services: crossed requestsObjective: Psychiatric hospitalization services for adolescents and the Aide sociale à l’enfance frequently cooperate as children that having been institutionalized at an early age are going through a painful or explosive adolescence period. It is often useful to propose a parent-adolescent separation. An educational placement without psychiatric care or a hospitalization without an educational program do not provide the relief expected. The purpose of this study is to improve the quality of listening awareness keeping in mind the specific sufferings of the adolescents placed and their parental and educational referring sources. Method: The first study includes 106 requests of hospitalization for adolescents made between September 2004 and July 2005, making a distinction regarding the source of the request: family or Youth Protection Services. The second study focuses on 45 adolescents hospitalized between September 2004 and July 2005. Results: The number of requests and the intakes of placed adolescents are not the same as those concerning adolescents who live with their family and who require a modification of their therapeutic setting. The study also takes into account the specificities of the department of Seine-Saint-Denis. Analyses and conclusions have been drawn in order to improve the help that can be offered to them. Working in a joint effort to avoid the common pitfalls of inter-institutional divisions, the services offered should be able to better respond to the particular sufferings of these adolescents. |
