| Summary, etc. | Resumé Objectif : examiner les différences éthiques entre deux positions, celle de l’expert judiciaire psychiatre et celle du psychiatre clinicien. Méthode : une revue critique de quatre expertises a été effectuée. Résultats : Agir comme clinicien ou comme expert requiert de la part du psychiatre une qualité d’écoute de la subjectivité de l’accusé(e). Cependant, l’expert agissant comme auxiliaire de justice doit s’écarter de la position de clinicien pour formuler son opinion ou témoignage d’une manière spécifique et utile pour la justice. |

| Summary, etc. | Infant homicide, a case series: forensic psychiatrist expertise, clinical understandingObjective: to examine the differences between two ethical stances, the one of a forensic psychiatry expert and the one of a clinical psychiatrist. Method: a review of four forensic psychiatry reports was conducted. Results: working as a clinician as well as a forensic expert requires from the psychiatrist a professional sensitivity to the subjectivity of the person charged with a crime. However acting as a court auxiliary the forensic expert has to move away from his/her clinical stance and formulate his/her opinion or testimony in a specific way usable by the court. |
