Pourtant celle-ci peut être une véritable addiction, dont les caractéristiques sont bien identifiées. Ses conséquences peuvent en être en effet importantes, notamment des conduites suicidaires. Ce syndrome mériterait d’être davantage pris en considération, en particulier en proposant plus systématiquement des psychothérapies individuelles ou de groupe. |

However compulsive sexuality could be a real behavioural addiction, which clinical characteristics are well identified. Since the consequences of sexual addiction could be serious and might even lead to suicide, sexual addiction should be taken into account through individual or group therapies. |
