| Summary, etc. | Resumé La maison thérapeutique est une structure d’hébergement à caractère communautaire. Elle s’avère une réelle alternative pour la continuité des soins en dehors des murs des hôpitaux et des environnements familiers hostiles. Elle s’adresse à des sujets ayant investis un projet de réinsertion sociale, disposant d’une mobilité psychique et d’une ouverture souple orientée vers la relation à autrui. Elle offre aux résidents l’opportunité d’acquérir de nouvelles compétences en vue de réintégrer le champ social et d’atteindre leurs objectifs recherchés. La maison thérapeutique a confirmé sa place dans le dispositif de soins en psychiatrie et se positionne comme un tremplin entre un milieu hospitalier chronicisant et un univers ouvert, anxiogène et peu protecteur. Il s’agit d’un outil thérapeutique qui permet d’évaluer avec objectivité les capacités d’autonomie de chacun des résidents et de cibler ainsi les interventions en collaboration permanente avec les différents référents médico-sociaux impliqués dans la prise en charge. |

It is a true alternative providing continuity of care for patients outside hospital walls and hostile usual environments. It is offered to patients with sufficient mental flexibility and social openness who are motivated to engage in a social reintegration project. It gives residents the opportunity to acquire new skills to reintegrate the social realm and achieve their objectives. Over the past years The House has confirmed its relevance within the psychiatric care device and posited itself as a bridge between the overprotective inpatient hospitalisation and the anxiety-provoking and adverse outside world. As a therapeutic device it helps assessing each resident’s capacity for autonomy and targeting interventions and cooperations between various facilities within the health and social networks. |
