Inspiré des thérapies cognitivo-comportementales et construit à partir des caractéristiques de l’expérience du combat, le BMT permet d’identifier les comportements inadéquats au retour et propose de les corriger. Cette préoccupation comme les solutions apportées inspirent d’autres armées dont l’armée française. |

Summary, etc. | The Battle Mind Training, a therapeutic strategy to accompany the soldier fromthe battle front to the home frontBattle Mind Training (BMT) is a therapeutic programdeveloped by the US Army to address the veterans’ psychological disturbances. Derived from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, BMT is built on characteristics of the combat experience. It identifies the persistent but inadequate combat behavior after deployment and suggests way to correct them. This program inspires other armies’therapeutic strategies, including the French army’s programs. |
