Il confronte les soldats qui y sont déployés à la réalité du risque vital dans un pays en guerre. Nous distinguons différentes catégories du risque, de la menace terroriste à celle des actions de combat. Au travers de deux histoires cliniques, nous indiquons combien cette confrontation au risque, en dehors même de la survenue d’un traumatisme psychique, est susceptible de provoquer des bouleversements des aménagements subjectifs chez les soldats qui y sont exposés. |

Atestimony froma military psychiatristMilitary engagement in Afghanistan is different from recent French army missions. Soldiers are facing vital risks in a country struggling with warfare. We distinguish several catégories of risks, from terrorist threat to conventional fight. Two clinical vignettes will illustrate how the exposition to the risk may provoke a psychological disequilibrium in a soldier even if a psychic traumatism is not ascertained. |
