Summary, etc. | RésuméDans cet article, nous nous centrons d’abord sur la dimension formative de l’enseignement supérieur social. Il nous paraît, avant tout, nécessaire que les étudiants développent des opinions sur les problématiques de fond et les paradigmes sous-jacents des phénomènes du système sociétal. Après avoir abordé le rôle de la formation au travail social en relation avec le travail de terrain, nous formulons un point de vue sur la place que la recherche peut ou doit avoir dans ces formations. En conclusion, nous nous focalisons sur le rôle de la formation dans la société. Tout aussi important est le fait que l’identité du travail social lui-même est en prise avec une réflexion critique. |

Summary, etc. | Social work: development in a net of relation practicesIn this article we first focus on the educational role of social higher education. In our opinion it is necessary that the students develop insights in the fundamental problems and in the paradigms underlying the social system. Next we explore the role of higher education in relation with the work field. We also formulate our opinion about the role of social research in social education. Finally we focus on the role of higher education in society. It is our opinion that social work education has a critical and liberating function towards society and that it must stimulate and develop a critical attitude amongst students. |
