| Summary, etc. | RésuméCet article s’interroge sur l’apport des théories et des pratiques de l’intégration européenne par rapport à la question du lien social. Avons-nous un « acte de naissance » certifiant l’existence d’une société au niveau de l’Union européenne ? Y a-t-il un bloc institutionnel-étatique garantissant un lien social potentiel, un processus d’identification continental, une forme de citoyenneté post-nationale ? Sur ces problématiques, une conclusion semble s’imposer, du moins provisoirement : il y a des « moments » durant lesquels un éventuel lien social européen est repéré, mais ce n’est pas un phénomène permanent. La faiblesse d’espace-temps public autour du processus d’intégration communautaire ne peut que confirmer notre hypothèse. La conflictualité, organisée toujours au niveau national, tout comme la faiblesse d’une Europe sociale distributrice, vont dans la même direction. |

| Summary, etc. | “What conception of the social link in the frame of European integration ? Questions and challenges”This article questions the contributions of theories and practices of European integration in relation to the issue of the social link. Do we have a “birth certificate” that certifies the existence of a society in the Union? Is there an institutional-state union that guarantees a potential social link, a process of continental identification, a kind of post-national citizenship? On these issues, a conclusion seems to emerge, at least for the time being: there are some “moments” during which a potential social link can be seen, but it is not a permanent phenomenon. The weakness of the public time-space about the process of the communautarian integration can just confirm our hypothesis. The conflictual situations, always organised at the national level, as the weakness of a social distributing Europe, go towards the same direction. |
