| Summary, etc. | L’animation socioculturelle caractérise des métiers de l’État social situés entre « vocation » et « profession ». Avec la crise, son centre de gravité s’est déplacé du « culturel » vers le « social ». Justifiée par des formes d’engagement (éducation populaire, etc.), la dynamique des emplois « occasionnels », conjuguée à la progression du nombre d’animatrices « périscolaires », a profondément renouvelé et précarisé la main-d’œuvre. L’animation illustre les multiples visages de l’insécurité sociale avec un masque à deux faces : d’une part du militantisme et des formes d’engagement pour autrui, d’autre part des formes d’activités en deçà (au-delà ?) de l’emploi. |

| Summary, etc. | The activity leaders between precariousness, militancy and political management of neighbourhoodsThe socio-cultural activity characterizes jobs from social State situated between ‘vocation’ and ‘profession’. With the crisis, its gravity centre was moved from ‘cultural’ to ‘social’. Justified by some sorts of commitment, (local (working-class) education, etc.) the dynamic of ‘occasional’ jobs, combined with the progression of the number of ‘extracurricular’ activity leaders, has deeply renewed and deprived the job security. The animation shows multiple faces of the social insecurity with a double faces mask : from one side militancy and some sorts of commitment for others and on the other side some sorts of activities far short of the job. |
