520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | The impact of the crisis in Spain on the Moroccan immigration: return migration of new strategies between both countries? The financial crisis has had a major impact on the immigrant population in Spain, especially on the largest non-EU population, i.e. Moroccan immigrants. Even so, it is only recently, specifically since 2012, that the size of Moroccan population has decreased. Return migration is at present especially complex, i.e. return is often viewed as a part of the migration cycle and refers both to the host and the source locations. This empirical paper discusses Moroccan return migration in the context of the Spanish financial crisis. |
