| Summary, etc. | Resumé Cette étude apporte un décryptage clinique nouveau sur la place et la fonction du corps pour ces adolescentes obèses. À partir d’un cas clinique et des tests de personnalité appropriés (Rorschach, Test de l’arbre), nous montrerons que ces adolescentes obèses ont un moi psychique qualifié de « nébuleux » dont la principale fonction est protectrice. C’est-à-dire en analogie avec le corporel, elles utilisent leur image volumineuse pour impressionner l’autre d’une part, puis d’autre part pour créer un espace amortissant (représenté par l’épaisseur de graisse) pour annihiler la violence des stimuli externe et interne. Cependant au moment de l’amaigrissement elles mettent à bas leur mécanisme de défense qu’elles ont construit à travers leur obésité. Elles s’exposent ainsi à une fragilité de leur équilibre psychique qui se manifeste par de l’angoisse, de la dépression, de l’agressivité. |

| Summary, etc. | Abstract :The body image of obese teen girls This study brings new clinical insights on the function the body in peer relationships of obese teenager girls. With regard to a case study with appropriate personality testing (Rorschach, Test of the tree), we will hypothesize that obese teen girls have a psychic self qualified as “nebulous” whose main function is protective. In analogy with the body, they use their bulky image to impress others and create a damping (represented by the thickness of fat) to annihilate the violence of external and internal stimuli. But when they start to lose weight they miss the defense mechanisms they built through their obesity. As a consequence they have to deal with a fragile mental equilibrium which is manifested by anxiety, depression and aggressiveness. |
