| Summary, etc. | Les derniers mois de 2019 ont vu l’émergence d’une forte mobilisation sociale au Chili, celle-ci ayant pour particularité la volonté explicite de participer à l’écriture d’une nouvelle société. Cette contestation, menée essentiellement par la société civile, est la cristallisation de 30 ans de combats contre le modèle économique, social et institutionnel légué par la dictature militaire et seulement amendé par la société politique. Aussi, lors des manifestations, la violence physique mettra en évidence la violence symbolique du système dominant, soit par ceux des manifestants qui désormais la refusent, soit par ceux dont le ministère est de la préserver. |

| Summary, etc. | 2019’s last months have seen the rise of a strong social uprising in Chile, with a very distinct feature: the specific will to join in the crafting of a new society. This dissent, mainly bred within the civil society, is the achievement of thirty years of struggles against the economical social and institutional models inherited from the military dictatorship, and merely superficially address by the political society reforms. Hence during demonstrations, physical violence has brought out the symbolic violence of the prevailing system, either by the demonstrators who now reject it, or by those, who’s office it is to uphold it. |
