Il met ainsi à l'épreuve la définition de l'État-nation par rapport aux frontières. Il aborde ensuite le traitement de l'hospitalité dans le cadre de l'action publique, notamment dans le travail social et la politique de la ville, éclairant ainsi des principes comme celui de proximité. |

Returning to an oral and written exchange between the author and Jacques Derrida, and drawing on the arguments put forward by one and the other, it questions the passage from value to organization by discussing the conditions inherent in the current context. He thus puts to the test the definition of the nation-state in relation to borders.
