| Summary, etc. | L’expérience maniaque, à côté de sa description purement symptomatique, a fait l’objet dans le passé de différentes analyses psychopathologiques. Parmi celles-ci figure l’approche phénoménologique, introduite notamment par le psychiatre suisse L. Binswanger dans les années 30, vers laquelle nous nous proposons de revenir. Au centre de ces analyses se trouve la notion « d’être-au-monde » empruntée à Heidegger, dont la compréhension suppose une analyse de la spatialité et de la temporalité propre au sujet maniaque impliquant une redéfinition de l’homme maniaque comme « homme-à-la-fuite-des-idées ».Outre l’apport à la compréhension du « monde » maniaque qu’apportent ces analyses, qui ont par ailleurs fait l’objet d’importants développements ultérieurs que nous évoquerons, il est possible d’entrevoir l’ouverture d’une telle approche tant dans le champ psychothérapeutique que dans celui de la recherche plus fondamentale (notamment de type cognitiviste). |

| Summary, etc. | The flight of ideas and the phenomenological approach of the manic disorderMany psychopathological analyses have been conducted on manic experiences in the past. Among them we can include the phenomenological approach introduced by Ludwig Binswanger, a Swiss psychiatrist practicing in the Thirties. At the centre of his analysis is the concept of “ être-au-monde”, borrowed from Heidegger. Such a conception requires to specifically analyze the spatial and time components of the subjective experience of the manic patient, being defined an individual experiencing the flight of ideas.Besides their additive value to the understanding of the psychological functioning of manic patients, the phenomenological approaches provide innovative perspectives for treatment and research, notably in cognition domains. |
