520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. A therapeutic program for inpatient adolescents with eating disorders and their familiesAnorexia nervosa engages the patient and his family in a dynamic which combines weight loss, crystallization of family interactions and behavior, and require in some severe cases, hospitalization. The medical and adolescent psychopathology unit of the Rouen CHU welcomes anorexic adolescent patients and proposes a therapeutic contract framework carefully articulating weight progression and motivational goals after an introductory time consisting in a separation between parents and their ill teenager. One of the findings of this treatment modality is that of anxiety, often redundant and shared by parents and their children during meal times after an often long hospitalization. In response to this concern, we developed a therapeutic program consisting of a “family meal” involving the patient and its family, two caregivers and supervision made by a family therapist whose work is based on the viewing of the video recordings of these meals. We propose, after reminding what the family approaches of anorexic adolescent are, to present this therapeutic program from which have benefited for the past two years, almost fifteen families and to give the first impressions of this innovating tool care.
