| Summary, etc. | En s’appuyant sur l’expérience de l’étude en cours : « Devenir des enfants ayant été placés en accueil familial thérapeutique », nous tenterons de décrire et de clarifier la Grounded Theory (GT). Nous insisterons sur sa valeur ajoutée dans la recherche médicale, et psychiatrique tout particulièrement. Une valeur d’ores et déjà reconnue et usitée dans le monde scientifique notamment en dehors de la France, à l’international. La GT est une méthode qualitative qui apporte une nouvelle façon de comprendre un sujet, d’aborder un fait humain. Elle favorise l’innovation scientifique par une méthode d’analyse enracinée dans les données du terrain. Une approche inductive qui fait émerger des théories nouvelles plus ou moins en lien avec des théories préexistantes. Dans un premier temps nous présenterons sa création et ses évolutions depuis la publication du livre de Glaser et Strauss en 1967. Puis nous expliquerons les différentes étapes permettant aux codeurs de se détacher de leurs préconceptions et de ne pas plaquer leurs propres catégories. Une méthodologie qui suit 6 étapes autour desquelles un cadre d’analyse facilite la lecture de la polyphonie des entretiens. Un chapitre est également consacré à la place de la GT au sein des méthodes qualitatives, ainsi qu’aux liens possibles entre GT et psychanalyse. Enfin, nous critiquerons l’intérêt de l’utilisation de cet outil dans les études médicales à venir, notamment françaises, soit comme outil seul mais surtout dans un alliage avec d’autres instruments quantitatifs. |

| Summary, etc. | Qualitative researches; grounded theory, its evolutions, its methodology, its application in the medical and psychoanalytical research Using the experience of the current study: “outcome of the children having been placed in therapeutic foster care”, we shall try to describe and to clarify Grounded Theory (GT). We shall insist on his added value in the medical and psychiatric research particularly. A value already recognized and concretized by a bigger use in the scientific world all around the world, except France.This method is a qualitative method which brings a new way of including a subject, of approaching a human fact. She promotes the scientific innovation by a method of analysis rooted in the data of the field. An inductive approach which brings to the foreground new theories in connection with pre-existent theories.We start to present its creation and its evolutions since the publication of the book by Glaser and Strauss in 1967. Then the article explains the various steps allowing the encoders to get loose from their prejudices and not to stick their own categories. A methodology which follows 6 steps around which a frame of analysis facilitates the reading of the polyphony of the interviews.A chapter is also dedicated instead of the GT within the qualitative methods, and the possible links between GT and psychoanalysis.Finally we shall criticize the interest of using this tool in the future medical studies, in particular French ones, as only tool but especially in an alloy with other quantitative instruments. |
