Summary, etc. | Presque 50 ans après le texte de Serge Lebovici sur la formation des internes en psychiatrie, Marie Rose Moro relit ce texte à la lumière de la dernière réforme de la spécialisation en psychiatrie de 2017. Elle s’interroge tout particulièrement sur comment bien former des psychiatres de bébés, d’enfants et d’adolescents. Elle retrace l’histoire de la discipline et les nécessités d’aujourd’hui. Elle analyse le choix des internes pour la spécialisation de psychiatrie et se demande s’il s’agit d’une vocation, d’une sélection ou d’un choix réciproque ? Elle décrit à qui est destinée cette formation de pédopsychiatrie et selon quelle temporalité. Puis elle interroge les modalités pratiques de cette formation et ses exigences : le processus de devenir pédopsychiatre, donner un sens à son rôle, reconnaître ses mouvements contre-transférentiels et les élaborer dans le cadre d’une supervision et s’initier à la recherche. Summary, etc. | Training to become a child and adolescent psychiatrist in the 21st CenturyNearly fifty years after the text by Serge Lebovici on the training of interns in psychiatry, Marie-Rose Moro revisits this text the light of the latest reforms in France in psychiatric specialisation in 2017. In particular, she broaches the issue of how to adequately train infant, child and adolescent psychiatrists. She recalls the history of this discipline, and she considers the needs of the present day. She analyses the choice of specialising in psychiatry by interns, and wonders whether this choice results from a vocation, from a form of selection or from reciprocal choice. She describes the profiles for whom training in child psychiatry is intended, and elements in the timing. She then explores the practical aspects of the training and its requirements : the process of becoming a psychiatrist, giving meaning to the role, recognising one’s own counter-transferences and elaborating them under supervision, and becoming acquainted with methods of research. All in all, training as a child psychiatrist is no small matter. |
