| Summary, etc. | Dans le cadre de consultations spécifiques pour des patients souffrant de « douleurs chroniques », nous sommes régulièrement amenés à rencontrer des enfants (en général dès l’âge de 7 ans) et des adolescents, adressés le plus souvent par des chirurgiens orthopédistes pédiatriques pour la prise en charge d’algoneurodystrophies (ou Syndrome Douloureux Régional Complexe de type 1) rebelles aux traitements antalgiques classiques. Nous décrivons notre expérience auprès de ces patients avec la nécessité de porter autant d’attention à la véracité de leur vécu douloureux qu’à leur histoire de vie, leur personnalité et les relations avec leur entourage.La réussite de la rencontre avec ces patients, leur acceptation de notre aide reposent sur la qualité de notre écoute et la pluridisciplinarité de la prise en charge : celui du médecin et du psychologue en consultation, celui des autres professionnels et des équipes relais. |

| Summary, etc. | As part of specific consultations for patients suffering from “chronic pain”, we are regularly called upon to meet children (generally from the age of 7) and adolescents, most often referred by pediatric orthopedic surgeons for the management of algoneurodystrophies (or Complex Regional Pain Syndrome 1) resistant to conventional analgesic treatments.We describe our experience with these patients with the need to pay as much attention to the veracity of their painful experience as to their life story, their personality and the relationships with those around them.The success of meeting these patients, their acceptance of our help depends on the quality of our listening and the multidisciplinary nature of the care: that of the doctor and the psychologist in consultation, that of other professionals and relay teams. |
