| Summary, etc. | RésuméOutre les changements successifs concernant les politiques scientifiques, certains aspects préoccupent particulièrement les autorités politiques et scientifiques : les perceptions sociales de la science qui ont suscité différentes études sociologiques durant les trois dernières décennies. Cet article confirme une ambivalence sociale croissante vis-à-vis des avancées scientifiques et techniques. De plus, les nouvelles formes de gouvernance occultent l’environnement social dans lequel se situent les systèmes de R+D+I. Car la littérature sur l’innovation et les indicateurs statistiques se penchent essentiellement sur l’impact économique de la science. Enfin, notre réflexion s’achève par une analyse de la réalité socio-naturelle que doit intégrer toute analyse sur l’impact de la science et de la technologie. |

| Summary, etc. | The social impact of systems of R+D+IWith the successive changes occurred in the scientific policies, there is something that in an increasing way worries the political and scientific authorities: the social perceptions of science that, during the last three decades, has mobilized different sociological studies. This article confirms an increasing social ambivalence about the scientist-technical advances. Also, our diagnosis is that the new forms of governance omit the social environment in which are placed the systems of R+D+I. In fact, the literature on innovation and the statistical indicators insist on the economic impacts of science. The final part of our reflection anticipates other dimensions: the impact of science and technology on the social-natural reality. |

| Summary, etc. | ResumenJunto a los sucesivos cambios en las políticas científicas, hay algo que de manera creciente preocupa a las autoridades políticas y científicas. Es el referido a las percepciones sociales de la ciencia, que durante las últimas tres décadas ha movilizado diferentes estudios sociológicos. Este artículo confirma una creciente ambivalencia social ante los avances científico-técnicos. Nuestro diagnóstico es que también las nuevas formas de gobernanza omiten el entorno social más amplio en el que se sitúan los sistemas de I+D+i. Prueba de ello es que la literatura sobre innovación y los indicadores estadísticos descuidan los impactos no-económicos de la ciencia. La parte final de nuestra reflexión anticipa otras dimensiones de la realidad socio-natural que el análisis sobre el impacto de la ciencia y la tecnología debe incorporar. |
