| Summary, etc. | À partir d’une sociologie visuelle des professions de foi issues d’une même commune depuis 1947 (17 scrutins, 99 professions de foi), cet article met en évidence la façon dont l’« apolitisme graphique » constaté lors des élections municipales de 2020 n’a finalement rien d’inédit. Ce travail sur un temps long et un échantillon localisé - qui permet d’opérer un croisement entre dimension graphique/rhétorique des professions de foi et environnement sociopolitique - montre combien la discrétion partisane est loin d’être synonyme de pratiques officieuses ou informelles. Elle s’insère plutôt dans un mouvement de redéfinition graphique du politique ayant pris une importance significative depuis les années 1990. Au gré des relégations ou des effacements des marqueurs les plus politiques (car les plus politiquement clivants), les professions de foi nous laissent ainsi entrevoir une évolution significative de l’espace politique et du lien partisan. |

| Summary, etc. | Based on a visual sociology of the Candidates declarations from one municipality since 1947 (17 elections, 99 candidates declarations), this article presents the way in which the « graphic apolitism » noted during the municipal elections of 2020 is not new. This work on a long period of time and a localized sample - which makes it possible to cross-reference the graphic/rhetorical dimension of the candidates declarations with the socio-political environment - shows how partisan discretion is far from being synonymous with unofficial or informal practices. It is rather part of a process of graphic redefinition of politics that has taken on significant importance since the 1990s. With the relegation or erasure of the most political markers (because they are the most politically divisive), these candidates déclarations allow us to glimpse a significant evolution of the political space and the partisan link. |
