| Summary, etc. | l’objectif de l’étude était principalement d’évaluer avec les critères du DSMIV la dépendance à la Codéine et au Tramadol des patients suivis pour hémoglobinopathie au Centre National de Référence de la drépanocytose (CNRD) et secondairement de déterminer des facteurs de risque de dépendance. Il s’agissait d’une enquête, auprès d’un échantillon de patients suivis pour hémoglobinopathie au CNRD. Les résultats indiquaient, une prévalence de la dépendance à la Codéine et au Tramadol à 5,8 % et comme facteurs de risque : une inadéquation selon la norme de l’OMS entre la prescription d’un antalgique de palier II (Codéine ou Tramadol) et le niveau de la douleur telle que ressentie par le patient, une provenance et une dispensation non formelles de ces produits. |

| Summary, etc. | the aims of this work is mainly to evaluate by DSMIV criteria, dependence to Codeine and Tramadol of patients followed for hemoglobinopathy the at the National Center for sickle cell anemia and secondly to determine risk factors for addiction. It was a sample survey of patients followed for hemoglobinopathy at CNRD. The results indicated prevalence level at 5.8 % of dependence on Codeine and Tramadol and as risk factors: a mismatch according to WHO standard between the prescription of a level II drug (Codeine and Tramadol) and the level of pain as experienced by the patient and the non-formal provenance and dispensation of these products. |
