| Summary, etc. | Dans les années 60, la décolonisation des pays d’Afrique de l’Ouest a eu pour conséquence l’arrivée des autochtones aux postes-clés avec un niveau de compétences correspondant aux standards européens. De ce fait, les politiques étatiques encouragèrent les étudiants à émigrer temporairement en France afin de s’y former et d’obtenir un diplôme qui justifierait leur position d’« ayant-droit » dans leur pays d’origine. Néanmoins, durant leur séjour en France, certains étudiants ont conservé le sentiment « d’infériorisé » vécu par l’Africain durant la colonisation ce qui s’est traduit par une névrose de type mixte. Prenant l’exemple de François-Aimé, étudiant noir originaire de Côte d’Ivoire dont le portrait fictif a été établi grâce à une enquête qualitative actuelle auprès d’anciens étudiants de cette période, les auteurs, psychanalystes, tentent d’expliquer son vécu névrotique durant ses années d’études en France. |
