| Summary, etc. | Une collaboration de recherche scientifique originale a été réalisée en juillet dernier dans le service de neurogériatrie sud de l’hôpital de Marseille entre un chercheur indépendant et un médecin neurologue. L’objectif de cette expérimentation en sciences humaines et sociales a été d’expliciter des liens éventuels entre les troubles olfactifs et la maladie d’Alzheimer. Pour ce faire, le chercheur a utilisé une nouvelle méthode qu’il appelle la « Programmation Neuro-olfactive ». Cette approche innovante comprend des analyses phénoménologiques, sociologiques et sémantiques complétées par un test d’olfactométrie subjective. Les résultats statistiques ont permis de retrouver des indicateurs olfactifs significatifs, de définir une typologie olfactive spécifique et d’en déduire un tableau des dysosmies liées aux différents stades de la maladie d’Alzheimer. Cette nouvelle démarche d’évaluation peut donc aider au dépistage en parallèle avec les diagnostics des cliniciens et proposer des ateliers de stimulation olfactive dans le cadre d’épreuves de réhabilitation. |

| Summary, etc. | Alzheimer’s disease : a new test and a treatment trackAn original scientific research collaboration was carried out last July in the neurogeriatric department south of the Marseille Hospital between an independent researcher and a neurologist. The objective of this experimentation in human and social sciences was to explain the possible links between olfactory disorders and Alzheimer’s disease. To do this, the researcher used a new method that he called “Neuro-olfactory programming”. This innovative approach includes phenomenological, sociological and semantic analyzes complemented by a subjective olfactometry test. The statistical results made it possible to retreive significant olfactory indicators, to define a specific olfactory typology and to deduce a table from the dysosmias related to the different stages of Alzheimer’s disease. This new evaluation procedure can therefore help screening in parallel with clinicians’ diagnoses and offer olfactory stimulation workshops in the context of rehabilitation tests. |
