| Summary, etc. | Une société tient en équilibre lorsque ses membres consentent à adopter des comportements légalement et moralement conformes. Il se trouve que la médecine, puis la psychologie, ont depuis longtemps montré qu’il existait des individus incapables de cette conformité, ce qui s’accompagne toujours d’un potentiel de nuisance sociale considérable. Pour autant, désigner avec rigueur et précision ces individus « asociaux » et leurs fonctionnements psychiques n’est pas chose aisée, notamment car les outils conceptuels disponibles sont eux-mêmes assez disparates et peu consensuels. Le premier objectif de cet article est donc d’exposer les concepts et taxonomies permettant de rendre compte de l’existence dans la population de tels individus, des premiers travaux sur la perversion et la psychopathie jusqu’aux approches corrélationnelles modernes. Le second objectif est d’expliciter la sémiologie, notamment les procédés relationnels que de tels sujets peuvent employer, consciemment ou non, dans leurs interactions, et les effets sur ce qu’il est fréquent d’appeler les victimes. L’enjeu est de nourrir l’écoute et l’observation cliniques et de permettre aux cliniciens de nommer ces procédés pour accompagner tant les sujets concernés que leurs victimes. |

| Summary, etc. | A society is balanced when its members agree to engage in legally and morally compliant behavior. It turns out that practitioners and psychologists have long demonstrated that some individuals are incapable of such moral conformity, which comes with serious social consequences. Nevertheless, understanding these “asocial” individuals and their psychic functioning remains a challenging issue, because of the diversity of available concepts and lack of consensus. The first goal of this study is to present the concepts and taxonomies available, from the first clinical descriptions of perversion and psychopathy, to modern correlation studies. The second goal is to explain the semiology and relational processes of antisocial personality, and the consequences on victims, to improve the clinical investigation, diagnosis and care of both. |
