| Summary, etc. | RésuméL’économie portugaise a enregistré plusieurs transformations au cours des récentes décennies, après la révolution démocratique (1974) et l’accès à l’Union européenne (1986). Une profonde intégration à l’Europe et un contexte original et inattendu d’intégration ibérique sont les principaux aspects de ce tableau. Les changements dans la spécialisation, l’émergence d’une économie publique de service, la centralité des relations financières extérieures et la nouvelle condition d’un Portugal investisseur net à l’étranger et pays d’immigration sont quelques-uns des principaux processus pour analyser la gouvernance économique portugaise dans cette période. Ce dernier élément plaide pour une étude des mécanismes de coordination de l’action collective. L’État, en tant qu’agent de l’« ordre relationnel », le marché, comme espace de plus en plus limité de gouvernance, et la communauté, comme l’expression des structures internes spécifiques au Portugal, sont considérés dans ce papier comme les principaux piliers de la gouvernance économique et des arrangements institutionnels. |

| Summary, etc. | Portuguese economy registered several significant transformations in recent decades, after the democratie revolution (1974) and the EEC accession (1986). A deep integration in the EU and an original and unexpected context of Iberian integration are main points of the new picture. The changes in specialization, the emergence of a public service economy, the centrality of financial external relations, and the new condition of Portugal as a net foreign investor and as a country of immigration are some of the main processes for the analysis of Portuguese economic Governance in this period. This last objective implies to study the coordination mechanisms of collective action. The State, as the agent of ’relational order’, the market, as an increasingly narrow place of governance, and the community, as the expression of the Portuguese specific internal structures, are considered in this paper as main institutional arrangements and bases for economic governance. |
