| Summary, etc. | RésuméLe Partit occitan est une formation politique récente (1987), exprimant une revendication, notamment sur le plan culturel, ancienne. Comment faut-il étudier cette formation politique au regard des typologies à disposition des politistes ? Faut-il l’étudier en tant que parti autonomiste ou bien en tant que "petit parti"? Les deux grilles d’analyse sont utiles pour appréhender cette formation en quête de reconnaissance dans le système politique local et transnational. Au regard d’une histoire plus que séculaire, le Poc est la tentative d’un occitanisme politique la plus aboutie. Il incarne la revendication militante, mais marginale, d’une périphérie. |

| Summary, etc. | The Partit occitan is a recent political group (1987) expressing an old demand especially on the cultural field. How to study this political group considering the typologies placed at the political observers’ disposal ? Do we have to study it as an autonomist party or as a "small party"? Both analytical grids are useful to perceive this group in search of being acknowledged in the local as well as the transnational political system. Considering a more than century-old history, the Poc is the most effective attempt of a political Occitanism. It represents the fighting but marginal demand of an area. |
