| Summary, etc. | RésuméCet article se propose de revenir sur les élections locales partielles de mai 2011 en Italie en les envisageant comme une séquence d’un processus d’affaiblissement du leadership berlusconien. Si la victoire du centre gauche s’avère modeste, elle n’en marque pas moins une inversion de tendance et participe d’une refonte des évaluations des acteurs sociaux quant aux rapports de force politiques en général et à la puissance du président du Conseil en particulier. |

| Summary, etc. | The aim of this article is to have a look at the May 2011 local by-elections in Italy by considering them as a sequence of a weakening process of Berlusconi’s leadership. If the victory of the center-left appears quite modest, nevertheless, it has constituted a reverse in the trend and took part to a remodeling of social actors’ evaluations about political relationships in general and the Prime Minister’s strength in particular. |
