L’introduction propose de montrer que le football est désormais devenu un objet d’étude légitime mais que sa construction européenne reste à interroger. Fait social européen, l’Euro 2016 de football constitue dès lors un bon laboratoire pour étudier les sociétés européennes et leurs représentations. Cette compétition permet également d’analyser les rapports ordinaires des citoyens à l’Europe et la fabrication d’une communauté imaginée. |
