| Summary, etc. | RésuméL’impossibilité d’avoir accès à toute prévision est patente dans la façon d’être des enfants autistes que nous accompagnons. Tout se passe comme si aucun vécu ne pouvait faire retour, comme si rien ne pouvait être anticipé. À l’instar de son ombre, l’enfant autiste semble s’agripper à son environnement, s’y coller sensoriellement au plus près, abrasant de la sorte tout recul, qu’il soit spatial ou temporel. Dans une perspective thérapeutique, nous avons engagé pour la première fois, dans le cadre de l’autisme, l’ombre du corps propre en tant que médiation. En effet, bien qu’elle soit une image bidimensionnelle du corps, l’ombre désigne également le relief du monde sur lequel elle se projette. En cela, elle nous a paru offrir des perspectives de dégagement et constituer un entre-deux apte à ouvrir à l’intégration d’un premier écart, condition de l’accès à la prévision. Par l’entremise d’une étude de cas, nous rendons compte ici de cette expérience princeps. |

| Summary, etc. | Mediation of the shadow: from « pre-vision » to expectation. A clinical study in the framework of infantile autismThe impossibility of having access to any expectation is patent in the way of life of autistic children whom we accompany. It always seems as if nothing previously experienced can be brought to use, as if nothing can be anticipated. The autistic child seems to grasp his environment in the same way as does a shadow, to adhere as closely as possible to it through his senses, and so doing, to abolish any spatial or temporal distance. In a therapeutic perspective, we have, for the first time, chosen the body’s own shadow as a mediation in the framework of autism. Indeed, even though it is a bidimensional image of the body, the shadow also points out the asperities of the world upon which it is projected. In this way, it seems to offer perspectives of release and constitutes an intermediate space facilitating acceptance of the integration of a first discrepancy, a necessary condition for achieving expectation. By way of a clinical study, we will offer an account of this initial experience. |

| Summary, etc. | ResumenLa imposibilidad de acceder a cualquier forma de previsión se hace patente en la manera de ser de los niños autistas que tratamos. Todo ocurre como si ninguna vivencia pudiera retornar y como si nada pudiera anticiparse. Igual que su sombra, el niño autista parece aferrarse a su entorno, adherirse sensorialmente con todas su fuerzas a él, cegando así cualquier mirada hacia atrás, ya sea temporal o espacialmente. Por primera vez en el marco del autismo y bajo una perspectiva terapéutica, hemos considerado la sombra del propio cuerpo como un agente mediador. Aún siendo una imagen bi-dimensional del cuerpo, la sombra figura también el relieve del mundo sobre el que se proyecta. Desde ese punto de vista, nos ha parecido que proponer una salida constituye un intermediario capaz de abrir un primer espacio, al ser una de las condiciones de acceder a la previsión. Mediante el estudio de un caso exponemos aquí esta experiencia princeps. |
