| Summary, etc. | Les débats actuels autour de l’autisme invitent à reprendre et clarifier les enjeux théoriques fondamentaux : comment comprendre la co-humanité et la spécificité des personnes avec autisme ? Les productions symboliques d’un enfant de huit ans permettront de mettre en évidence l’impact des spécificités de traitement sensoriel sur le vécu autistique. Nous proposons ensuite des éléments de dialogue théorico-pratique avec les conceptions comportementales du traitement des enfants avec autisme. Nous défendons ainsi l’idée d’une nécessaire fermeté thérapeutique pour créer un cadre protecteur et stimulant. Nous développons également l’idée que l’ajustement pragmatique au fonctionnement autistique est profondément amélioré par la possibilité de faire des hypothèses sur le vécu propre de ces enfants. Nous montrons dans ce sens comment un ancien texte de Freud propose des clés de lecture importantes pour comprendre le développement de la fonction miroir des personnes avec autisme. |

| Summary, etc. | The position of autism between psychoanalysis and behaviorism: several propositionsThe current debates surrounding autism invite us to take up and clarify the fundamental theoretical issues involved: how can we understand the co-humanity and the specificity of persons with autism? First, the symbolic productions of an 8-year-old child make it possible to demonstrate the impact of the specificities of sensorial treatment on autistic experience. We then propose elements of theoretico-practical dialogue with behaviorist conceptions of treatment for children with autism. So doing, we defend the idea of a necessary therapeutical firmness in order to create a protective and stimulating framework. We also develop the idea that pragmatic adjustment to autistic functioning can be seriously improved with the possibility of making hypotheses about the personal experience of these children. In this way, we will show how one of Freud’s very early texts proposes interpretive keys to understanding the development and mirror functioning of persons with autism. |

| Summary, etc. | Los debates actuales sobre el autismo fomentan retomar y clarificar lo que está en juego en la teoría fundamental: como entender la co-humanidad y la especificidad de las personas con autismo? Las producciones simbólicas de un niño de 8 años nos permiten evidenciar el impacto de las especificidades del tratamiento sensorial en la vivencia autística. Proponemos también unos elementos de diálogo teórico-práctico según la concepción del comportamiento en el tratamiento de los niños autistas. Defendemos la idea de la necesaria firmeza terapéutica para crear un encuadre protector y estimulante. Desarrollamos también la idea de que un ajuste pragmático con el funcionamiento autístico ha mejorado notablemente gracias a la posibilidad de hacer hipótesis sobre la propia vivencia de esos niños. En ese sentido aludimos a un antiguo texto de Freud en el que propone unas importantes claves de lectura para entender el desarrollo de la función especular de las personas con autismo. |
