| Summary, etc. | L’essor et la banalisation des techniques de procréation médicale assistée en cas d’infertilité, notamment par la dissociation qu’elles introduisent entre la sexualité et la procréation, a bouleversé nos représentations des liens de filiation et de la parenté (qu’est-ce qu’une mère, qu’est-ce qu’un père, et plus largement qu’est-ce qu’un parent ou une famille ?) et engendré des scénarios fantasmatiques complexes et angoissants autour de la question des origines et de la technicisation du vivant. Dans le cadre de cet article, je vais plus particulièrement m’intéresser aux enjeux psychiques liés à l’insémination artificielle avec donneur (IAD), à partir d’un long suivi psychothérapique d’un enfant issu de cette technique reproductive. Après avoir passé en revue quelques études sur le devenir des enfants nés par IAD, je vais me pencher sur la question générale du statut psychique du père stérile notamment au regard de son fils à la période de l’adolescence. Le développement de la vignette clinique et la discussion détaillée des difficultés rencontrées par mon patient vont me permettre d’aborder plusieurs thématiques liées à la spécificité de l’IAD sans pour autant réduire son fonctionnement psychique aux difficultés inhérentes à son mode de conception. La situation de l’IAD, au même titre que l’adoption (avec laquelle elle partage plusieurs aspects) et les autres techniques d’assistance médicale à la procréation suscite nombre de problèmes et de questions pour les familles concernées sans pour autant déterminer le destin des enfants qui en sont issus. Je prône à la fois une pensée complexe qui permette de réfléchir et de prendre en compte tous les éléments en jeu et leurs interactions circulaires dans des situations IAD et une conception de l’humain en termes de plasticité identitaire. |

| Summary, etc. | The rapid growth and banalization of medically-assisted procreation techniques in cases of infertility, particularly from the dissociation they introduce between sexuality and procreation, has totally transformed our representations of the links between filiation and kinship relations (what is a mother, what is a father, and on a larger scale, what is a parent or a family?). This engenders complex and anxiety-provoking fantasies around the question of origins and the technicisation of living things. In the framework of this article, I will delve more particularly into the psychic stakes involved in AID (artificial insemination with donor), based on the long psychotherapeutic treatment of a child born by such a reproductive technique. After reviewing several studies about the future lives of children born by AID, I will consider the general question of the psychic status of the sterile father, particulary in regard to his son during the adolescent period. The development of the clinical case history and the detailed discussion about the difficulties encountered by my patient will allow me to address several themes linked to the specificity of AID, while not reducing his psychic functioning to the difficulties inherent in the way he was conceived. The situation of AID, as well as adoption (with which it shares several aspects) and the other medically-assisted procreation techniques, have engendered numerous problems and questions for the families concerned, although they do not determine the destiny of the children born in these ways. I advocate two things: a complex thought process which will let us consider and take all the elements at stake into account and their circular interactions in AID situations, as well as a conception of the human being in terms of identity plasticity. |

| Summary, etc. | El auge y la banalización de las técnicas de procreación médica asistida en caso de infertilidad han trastocado nuestras representaciones de los vínculos de filiación y de paternidad al disociar la sexualidad y la procreación. (¿Qué es una madre, que es un padre? Y también: ¿Qué es un pariente, una familia?). Por otra parte han dado lugar a fantasías complejas y angustiosas respecto a la cuestión de los orígenes y de la influencia de las transformaciones que la tecnicidad en el concepto de vida. En este artículo y a raíz de una larga psicoterapia con un niño nacido gracias a este tipo de técnica reproductiva, me intereso particularmente en los problemas psíquicos relacionados con la inseminación artificial de un donante (IAD), Después de revisar algunos estudios sobre el porvenir de niños nacidos mediante IAD, me centro en la cuestión general del estatuto psíquico del padre estéril respecto a su hijo, sobre todo en el momento de la adolescencia. La presentación de la viñeta clínica y la discusión detallada de las dificultades de mi paciente han suscitado mi reflexión sobre varios temas relacionados con la especificidad del IAD sin que por ello haya que limitar el funcionamiento psíquico de un sujeto a las dificultades inherentes a su forma de concepción. El caso del IAD, (parecido al de la adopción con la que comparte ciertos aspectos) y de las otras técnicas de asistencia médica a la procreación suscita problemas e interrogantes en las familias, sin que todas estas técnicas condicionen el destino de esos niños. En mi opinión se impone una reflexión compleja así como el estudio de cada elementos, de sus interacciones circulares en situaciones de IAD teniendo en cuenta el concepto de lo humano en términos de plasticidad de la identidad. |
