| Summary, etc. | Le transfert d’un bébé prématuré depuis le service de réanimation à l’unité de néonatologie est souvent cité comme une transition mal vécue par les familles comme les soignants, mais rarement questionnée spécifiquement. Nous proposons ici un éclairage clinique et théorique sur la dynamique psychologique en jeu lors de cette étape. Il nous est apparu que les résistances à ce transfert renvoyaient en fait à une autre réalité, celle du transfert inconscient des parents sur l’environnement humain et technique réanimatoire qui a sauvé leur enfant. L’idée de quitter ce même service pour confier leur bébé à une unité inconnue et moins technique nécessite un travail d’élaboration de la séparation qui ravive le traumatisme de la rupture prématurée. Il s’agirait même d’une étape clef dans le processus de parentalisation que chaque équipe peut tenter de soutenir à sa manière. |

| Summary, etc. | The passage of a premature infant from the intensive care ward to the neonatal ward, called “transfer”, is often cited as a transition which is as difficult for families as it is for nurses and doctors, but it is rarely studied specifically. We propose herein to give a new clinical and theoretical perspective to the psychological dynamics involved at this stage. It appears that the resistance to this transfer refers in fact to another reality, the unconscious transference of parents onto the human and technical environment that saved their child. The idea of leaving this service and confiding their baby to another unknown and less technical one requires separation work which revives the premature rupture. It might even be a real key step in the process of parentalisation which each medical and paramedical team could accompany in its own manner. |

| Summary, etc. | Las familias y los cuidadores no viven bien el traslado de un bebé prematuro desde el servicio de reanimación a la Unidad de Neo-natalidad, a pesar de que no es frecuente que lo manifiesten. En este artículo expresamos nuestro punto de vista clínico y teórico sobre la dinámica psicológica de esta etapa. Pensamos que la resistencia a este traslado tiene que ver con otra realidad: inconscientemente los padres viven ese traslado como un abandono del entorno humano y técnico de reanimación que ha salvado a su hijo. La idea de dejar ese servicio y confiar su bebé a un contexto desconocido y menos técnico exige un trabajo de elaboración de la separación y reaviva el traumatismo de la prematuridad. Se trata de una etapa primordial del proceso paterno que cada equipo maneja s su manera. |
