| Summary, etc. | La parentalité des mères présentant un trouble psychotique demeure peu étudiée et majoritairement considérée dans la littérature francophone du point de vue des facteurs de risque pour l’enfant. À travers une revue de la littérature, cet article propose un nouveau regard face à cette problématique en interrogeant également les facteurs de protection. L’objectif est d’exposer d’une part, les effets délétères de la maladie et les difficultés que les femmes psychotiques rencontrent dans leur parentalité et d’autre part, les facteurs individuels et environnementaux qui peuvent contribuer à les protéger dans leur rôle maternel. Une approche écosystémique, prenant en compte les facteurs personnels et environnementaux, semble la plus adaptée pour comprendre la problématique des mères présentant un trouble psychotique et contribuer à un processus de résilience individuelle ou familiale. |

| Summary, etc. | The parenthood of mothers who present with psychotic disorders remains little studied. In the Francophone literature, it is primarily approached from the point of view of risk factors for the child. Using a literature review, this article proposes a new approach to this issue, one that also raises questions about protection factors. The aim is, on the one hand, to describe the harmful effects of this illness and the difficulties that psychotic women encounter during parenthood and, on the other, to describe individual and environmental factors that may help protect them in their role as mothers. An ecosystemic approach, taking into account both personal and environmental factors, appears to be the best way of understanding the issue of mothers who present with psychotic disorders, and of contributing to processes of individual and familial resilience. |
