| Summary, etc. | Nous nous proposons de décrire le suivi thérapeutique d’une enfant de 15 mois prise en charge dans notre service hospitalier à la suite du meurtre de sa mère par son père. L’accompagnement thérapeutique dans un contexte aussi dramatique (perte brutale des deux figures d’attachement, placement en urgence) soulève des problèmes spécifiques, notamment du fait de l’intensité de la charge émotionnelle et des effets de sidération induits par l’événement traumatique, aussi bien pour l’entourage de l’enfant que pour les thérapeutes eux-mêmes. Le cadre thérapeutique que nous présentons ici, tenant compte de ces spécificités, a permis un travail en direction de l’enfant, portant sur l’intégration de son vécu catastrophique de perte et de rupture. Mais il a également favorisé un travail plus indirect autour des interactions avec le caregiver, en l’occurrence la grand-mère paternelle, elle-même aux prises avec des processus traumatiques. Le processus thérapeutique qui s’est engagé avec la dyade a ainsi ouvert la voie à une possible narrativité. |

| Summary, etc. | We describe the therapeutic treatment of a fifteen-month-old child in our hospital following the murder of the mother by the father. Therapeutic treatment in such a dramatic context (sudden loss of both attachment figures and emergency placement) raises specific problems, particularly because of the intensity of the emotional load and the effects of shock caused by the traumatic event, both for those around the child and the therapists themselves. The therapeutic framework we present here takes these distinctive features into account, and allows us to direct our work toward the child, addressing the integration of her catastrophic experience of loss and rupture. But it also encourages more indirect work based around interactions with the caregiver, in this case the paternal grandmother, who was herself dealing with traumatic processes. This dyad-based therapeutic process paves the way for a potential narrativity. |
