| Summary, etc. | This article retraces the discussions on cultural policies in Southern and South-Eastern Europe during the eponymous workshop at the CEPEL 40th anniversary colloquium. We propose to reflect on the trajectories of cultural policies in Southern Europe over the last few decades, on the specificity of cultural policies within this geographical area, their singularities and their convergences with European integration and, more broadly, to the processes of institutionalisation of public intervention in the field of culture. We also look back at recent movements in the politicisation of culture, evoking the case of illiberal regimes and movements for whose South-East Europe provides a relevant laboratory for analysis. |

| Summary, etc. | Cet article retrace les échanges consacrés aux politiques culturelles en Europe du Sud et du Sud-Est au cours de l’atelier éponyme organisé lors du colloque des 40 ans du CEPEL. Nous proposons d’engager la réflexion sur les trajectoires des politiques culturelles en Europe du Sud au cours de ces dernières décennies, en particulier sur la spécificité des politiques culturelles au sein de cette aire géographique, leurs singularités et leurs convergences en lien avec l’intégration européenne et, plus largement, avec les processus d’institutionnalisation de l’intervention publique en matière de culture. Nous revenons également sur les mouvements récents de politisation de la culture en évoquant le cas des régimes et des mouvements illibéraux, dont l’Europe du Sud-Est constitue un laboratoire d’analyse pertinent. |
