520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Use of ayahuasca (an Amazonian psychotropic subs~tance), which is presently a fashionable therapeutic process among Western people, can be problematic. This practice has its roots in a therapeutical void in our society. Unfortunately, it is tangled up in a number of misunderstandings that minimise the strength of and the danger inherent to ayahuasca use. This paper points out the dangers that are overlooked due to linguistic misunderstandings and confu~sion. |
