| Summary, etc. | RésuméA partir de quelques débats qui ont marqué l’histoire de la psychanalyse, tels que celui des Etudes sur l’hystérie entre Breuer et Freud en 1895, celui sur le développement de la féminité entre Freud et des analystes femmes dès les années vingt, celui entre Mélanie Klein et Anna Freud qui se développa au sein de la Société Britannique de Psychanalyse de 1941 à 1945, et celui qui se déroula durant les années soixante-dix entre kleiniens et lacaniens dans le Rio de la Plata, les auteurs s’intéressent au rôle joué par les controverses scientifiques dans l’acquisition des connaissances en psychanalyse et dans les diverses psychothérapies. La relativité de la vérité quant à la réalité intérieure de l’être humain, la difficulté d’étudier un objet, l’inconscient, dont par définition personne ne veut rien savoir, ainsi que l’utilité de développer des champs argumentatifs permettant la discussion des prémisses des différentes théories sont mises en exergue. |

| Summary, etc. | The subject here is to follow up some of the major debates in the history of psychoanalysis such as the one on the Studies in Hysteria between Breuer and Freud in 1895, those on feminine development between Freud and women analysts that began in the 1920’, the one that developed between Melanie Klein and Anna Freud within the British Society of Psychoanalysis from 1941 to 1945, as well as the one that went on during the 70’ between Kleinian and Lacanians at Rio de la Plata. The authors’ interest is turned toward the role that scientific controversies played in the growth of knowledge in psychoanalysis and in the various forms of psychotherapy. They examine the relativity of truth as such in the human being’s interior reality, the difficulty of making the subconscious an object of study when by definition it is precisely what no one wants to know anything about! Also we bring forward and discuss the utility of laying out grounds for argument and fomenting discussion on those very principles on which the different theories are formuled. |
