| Summary, etc. | Les différentes typologies de joueurs pathologiques proposées ne permettent pas d’établir un modèle conceptuel consensuel. Les joueurs pathologiques constituant un groupe hétérogène, il ne peut pas être proposé le même parcours de soin à tous les joueurs. Néanmoins, il semble que des sous-groupes de joueurs ayant des traits spécifiques aient été identifiés, ce qui permet de mieux comprendre ce trouble et ainsi de pouvoir proposer un suivi plus adapté aux différents joueurs pathologiques. Il paraîtrait intéressant de pouvoir disposer d’une large gamme d’options d’interventions pour les joueurs liée à leur particularité. Ce modèle aurait pour visée d’éviter le clivage de l’abstinence ou du jeu contrôlé comme seul objectif et plutôt de souligner la complémentarité de ces approches. L’articulation de ces concepts se dessine à travers l’étude du cas clinique d’une joueuse pathologique. |

Study of a clinical case of pathological gambling The various proposed typologies of pathological gamblers do not allow us to establish a consensual conceptual model. Pathological gamblers constitute a heterogeneous group, so the same treatment cannot be offered for all gamblers. However, it appears that subgroups of gamblers with specific traits have been identified, enabling a better understanding of the disorder and thus the proposal of treatment more suited to different pathological gamblers. It seems interesting to have a wide range of intervention options for gamblers related to their particularity. This model would avoid the dichotomy of abstinence or controlled gambling as the only possible objectives and instead highlights the complementarity of these approaches. These concepts are articulated here through the study of a clinical case of pathological gambling. |
