| Summary, etc. | Prenant appui sur la théorie générale des champs de Pierre Bourdieu, cette étude montre comment l’autonomie médiatique et politique est nuancée, relativisée, voire remise en cause par l’omniprésence du pouvoir maraboutique, en particulier au Sénégal. Les contours de la situation sénégalaise y sont évoqués avec la force du pouvoir maraboutique, ses conséquences sur le comportement des acteurs sociaux et la règle qu’il impose au champ médiatique (autocensure journalistique), malgré les prémisses d’un changement dans le comportement des médias. |

| Summary, etc. | Based on Pierre Bourdieu’s general field theory, this study shows that marabout power is able to relativize or even to challenge the mediatic and politic autonomy, particularly in Senegal. The outline of Senegalese situation is drawn based on the « strength » of marabout power, its consequences on social actors’behavior and the rule that it is imposing on the mediatic field (journalistic self censorship), although the attitude of medias starts to change. |
