| Summary, etc. | Les théories de la communication permettent-elles de penser la reproduction de la vie matérielle ? Telle est la question à laquelle ce texte se propose de répondre en examinant trois modèles conceptuels irréductibles : ceux de George H. Mead, Niklas Luhmann et Jürgen Habermas. On peut alors montrer que ces trois modèles posent spécifiquement problème quand il s’agit pour eux de décrire des opérations monétaires, qui sont principalement visées à travers la notion de vie matérielle. Le rapport entre communication et monnaie s’avère ainsi difficile à fonder sur la base de théories qui font de l’entente le principe actif de toute problématisation de la vie collective. |

| Summary, etc. | Do communication theories make possible to think out material life reproduction?? This text proposes to answer that question by analysing three basic conceptual models?: those of George H. Mead, Niklas Luhmann and Jürgen Habermas. Thus it seems possible to show that these three models raise specific problems when they have to describe monetary operations, which are concerned when dealing with the notion of material life. It seems difficult to base relations between communication and money on theories which regard understanding as the way of problematizing collective life. |
