| Summary, etc. | Chemsex refers to the use of psychoactive substances to initiate, facilitate, prolong, or enhance sexual intercourse. The practice mainly concerns men who have sex with men (MSM). In France, these substances are mainly represented by synthetic cathinones and gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB). Over the past ten years, the practice has become increasingly visible and widespread, thanks to the internet and the advent of location-based dating apps. Numerous complications are associated with this practice and have been extensively described, but sexual health is rarely addressed. We have therefore studied the impact of chemsex on users’ quality of life and sexual satisfaction. Methods. Observational study. During consultations, those attending for chemsex use were asked to complete the Male Sexual Health Questionnaire (MSHQ). Socio-demographic data and information on modes of practice were also collected. Results. Twenty-two participants were interviewed, with a median age of thirty-six years. Median scores revealed erectile and especially ejaculatory disturbances, with median scores of 13/15 and 28/35 respectively. The scores for erectile and ejaculatory discomfort also point in this direction. This finding once again highlights the impact of chemsex substances and practice on sexual-health quality of life, and the need to develop questionnaires tailored to this user population. |

| Summary, etc. | Le chemsex désigne la consommation de substances psychoactives afin d’initier, faciliter, prolonger ou améliorer les rapports sexuels. La pratique concerne préférentiellement les hommes ayant des rapports sexuels avec des hommes (HSH). En France, ces substances sont principalement représentées par les cathinones de synthèse et le gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB). La visibilité de la pratique s’est largement accrue et diffusée sur le territoire au cours des dix dernières années, portée par internet et l’avènement des applications de rencontres géolocalisées. De nombreuses complications sont associées à cette pratique et sont largement décrites mais la santé sexuelle est peu abordée. Par conséquent, nous nous questionnons sur l’impact du chemsex sur la qualité de vie et la satisfaction sexuelle des usagers. Méthode. Étude observationnelle. Lors des consultations, le questionnaire MSHQ a été proposé aux usagers consultant pour un usage de chemsex. Les données socio-démographiques et les modalités de la pratique étaient également recueillies. Résultats. 22 participants interrogés, d’âge médian 36 ans. Les médianes des scores révèlent l’existence de perturbations érectiles et surtout éjaculatoires avec des scores médians s’élevant respectivement à 13/15 et 28/35. Les scores de gêne érectile et éjaculatoire vont également dans ce sens. Ce constat met à nouveau en lumière l’impact des substances et de la pratique sur la qualité de vie en santé sexuelle et la nécessité d’élaborer des questionnaires adaptés à cette population d’usagers. |
